Our history

Flying Colours was co-founded by Jim Hamil and Mary Walsh in 2007.

Mary began her career as a local authority social worker who, with other colleagues, went on to create SACCS in 1987.

Mary’s pioneering work in the treatment of sexually abused children has ensured that their recovery has come to be regarded as of equal, if not more, importance than the diagnosis of the abuse itself.

Following Mary’s decision to retire from daily practice in 2012, Jim became the sole Director of the Agency.
